Chekodilu / chegodilu a traditional snack recipe from Andhrapradesh
Ingredients
1 cup water
1/4th tbsp vanasapathi(or)butter
salt
1tsp Ajawain(vaamu)
1/4th tbsp Turmeric
1 and half cup Maida(Refined Flour)
Oil for deep fry
Preparation:
1. In a kadai add water, ajwain, salt and turmeric
2. Let the water boil
3. While water boiling add maida and mix well, After 1 min switch off the flame
4. Knead the dough using wet cloth, once it's cool knead with hands
5. Put this dough in murukku maker and press lines
6. Take the line, fold to finger, cut and joint, to form ring shape
7. Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
8. Enjoy the tasty and crispy rings / chegodilu
